We had been told it was the best gluten-free...

We had been told it was the best gluten-free pizza and pasta restaurant in Brussels. They were superb. They even adapted dishes like the aubergine alla parmigiana changing the cheese. Try the fish, it is fresh and very tasty. Plus the service and the chef were most polite, friendly, and adaptable.

Waiters were very nice and kind. I was impressed they had a menu including both lactose free and gluten free pizzas (quite rare). The gluten free dough is usually difficult to make in a “Neapolitan style”, so for me it was ok the taste and texture (light and crunchy). They had some wines in the menu, even half bottles which is great for people who cannot drink the typical beer with pizza for the gluten, but only 2 were available in the end despite having 4 in the menu, similar price to other pizzerias, but they were average-to-low quality (and no cork) - 15€ for half bottle. The toppings were ok but not exceptional: I got the one with black truffle and the thing that could be tasted the most was the oil. My partner got the same pizza with gluten and he had the same review, the dough was not Neapolitan style (maybe it was intended to be more Roman style? Not clear). Price is similar to other Italian great pizzerias in Brussels. So I would go back for the gluten/lacto free option cause it’s rare and very appreciated, but toppings can definitely be improved for the price of the pizza (or the price can be lowered) to better position the restaurant as well as the dough for the gluten pizza, if it wants to be perceived/sold as an Italian place also for Italian customers.
