About this restaurant
Frans Vranckx decided in 1896 to set up a bathing place in the Kleine Nete, near the Kessel - Emblem boundary. He obtained a 99-year concession for this purpose. He began by placing wooden barracks. In 1897 they were replaced by the present bathhouse: the start of a fascinating story!
