About this restaurant
Self-taught? Perhaps. What is certain is that Johan chose the school of perseverance to learn the tricks of the trade. After a rigorous and demanding training at Scholteshof, during the time of Roger Souvereyns, he left for Monaco for an apprenticeship at Alain Ducasse's Louis XV. Wanting even more experience, he continued his culinary journey with Michel Guérard, in Eugénie les Bains. Finally, he made a detour past Philippe Rochat in Crissier, near Lausanne. He gained two years of experience with all his masters before settling down at Hof ter Hulst. Hof ter Hulst is located in an old, converted farmhouse. The interior is light and classical, and exudes a timeless class. You will be received and served very hospitably but extremely professionally. Besides a short menu, Hof ter Hulst offers a number of very attractive menus that will make you want to come back here! From now on you will also be able to enjoy our cozy garden terrace!
