Restaurant Restaurant Tot Straks has been a household name in and around Merksem since 1986. You can enjoy fresh and seasonal dishes in a cozy, homely and relaxed atmosphere. On 1 July 2018, Restaurant Tot Straks was taken over by chefs Cristian Schrauwen and Matthias Goor, after the previous owner Guy Philips was forced to close the restaurant in 2014 during the reconstruction of the Bredabaan in Merksem. Together with their team, Cristian and Matthias are taking on the challenge of putting restaurant Tot Straks back on the map in Merksem. In the same vein as before, but with its own classic and contemporary accents. RESTAURANT TOT STRAKS The name of the restaurant, 'Tot Straks', refers to never wanting to say goodbye to our guests. It is always a happy and warm reunion, whether the day itself, a day later or after several months ... at restaurant Tot Straks we never say goodbye.
