Founded in 1976 by the parents of the current chef, the Auberge des 4 Bras is part of the city's history. With Fabrice in the kitchen and Nathalie in the dining room, come and discover an exquisite cuisine, flavored by the passion and know-how of its owners. It is this passion and know-how that, in 2011, will earn the Auberge des 4 Bras de Philippeville the accreditation of "Bistrots de Terroir". Whether you come to taste the famous "Rabbit with beer and nettles", a traditional recipe of Philippeville, or to enjoy local dishes or French cuisine, Fabrice and Nathalie will welcome you with a smile and good humor. Concerned about the quality of your experience, the owners renew their menu twice a year, offer you seasonal suggestions or let you discover their "market menu" at 29 EUR for 3 services. The latter is renewed every month. Reception and menus in Dutch and English, capacity of 70 seats, private parking for 20 cars, access for disabled people and a beautiful shaded terrace with 40 seats: everything is designed to please your palate, but also for your comfort.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, le patron est...

Excellent rapport qualité prix, le patron est aux fourneaux et sert en salle. Il propose un très beau voyage culinaire. La serveuse est très bien et très accueillante. On y reviendra avec plaisir. Je connais le chef depuis des années, c'était déjà plus que parfait quand il était aux 4 bras à Philippeville. Il est toujours aussi doué pour ses présentations et ses bons plats, son service irréprochable. J'ai eu une pensée pour son épouse que j'ai très bien connu. Je félicite sa serveuse, au top. Bonne continuation. Et à très vite.

We kregen een saté die aan 1 zijde totaal...

We kregen een saté die aan 1 zijde totaal zwart gebrand was. We roken aan tafel reeds dat er iets aan het verbranden was in de open keuken. Om het te verdoezelen lag de verbrande kant naar beneden op het bord gelegd in een peperroomsaus. We hebben de verbrande kant eraf gesneden. Doch doordat de verbrande kant in de saus lag, smaakte de saus ook verbrand

Viande beaucoup trop cuite. Même brulée . Très sec. Assiette remplie de sauce et presque rien d'autre. Entrée terrine sans gout excepté celui du vinaigre. Vin du patron acide. Dessert très fade.
