Gentse Feesten 2015, Lebanese sisters Mona and Dalilah, together with friend Hanne, decide to share their cooking passion with the general public. An old taco stand is recycled into Lebanese food truck. Yalla Yalla Beirut Streetfood is a reality. Despite the half-finished nameplate and numerous electricity cuts, customers flock for what matters: homemade, fresh and authentic cuisine. Since then Yalla Yalla has been roaming festivals and other events with pimped Yalla Yalla has been roaming festivals and other events ever since. From Pukkelpop to Pinkpop, from village festival to wedding party. Lebanese everywhere In October 2016, Yalla Yalla opened a pop-up food stand in the Antwerp food market Mercado. Later, one followed in the Holy Food Market (Ghent), Hal 5 (Leuven), and De Vleeshalle (Mechelen). With its first own food bar in Ghent, Yalla Yalla is setting foot ashore in their favourite city, with a great deal of appetite! Sahtein!
