the atmospheric restaurant mykene is located in a pedestrian street in the city centre. the old mansion was then restored with due respect for the past, resulting in a beautiful and spacious restaurant, with two separate halls and a pleasant terrace. mykene provides a pure belgian cuisine and has an assortment of Belgian beers, exceptional and unique that you can enjoy, but which are also used in some dishes. our chef, stijn gille works mainly with fresh and seasonal ingredients as the card changes to the rhythm of the seasons: asparagus dishes in march, mussels in july, game on the menu in the autumn, ... there is also a lot of attention to vegetarian dishes and his jacket patatoes preparations are unique in leuven and surroundings. mykene is open seven days a week and offers an interesting menu for 38 euros, both afternoon and evening, with a starter, main course, dessert and ¼ liter of wine. at noon there is also the interesting budget lunch for 21.50 euros, with a glass of bubbles, a soup, main course and coffee. we propose this formula also in a vegetarian version. what are you waiting for?

Personeel heel vriendelijk. Met 4 personen...

Personeel heel vriendelijk. Met 4 personen gegeten. 3x Ribbetjes. Deze waren 3x als beste ooit gegeten bevonden. 1x Mosselen. Oprechte mening dat ze goed waren bereid maar veel te klein voor de tijd van het jaar. Geen restaurant niveau voor de prijs dat ze aangerekend werden. Maar ik kom zeker terug . 10/10 Ribbetjes en 6/10 voor de mosselen.

I ordered a dish called bintje. It was mentioned to be served with jalapeños and sourcream. I did not get both. Just a salad came with potatoes and beans. Also, dishes are charged whooping high for a fairly decent portion and quality.
