About this restaurant
Kitchen chef David Schulz, philosopher, psychologist and musician in a previous life, started out as self-taught and went through the necessary apprenticeships at both small and large houses over several years. Inspired by the seasons and nature, David presents a creative light contemporary kitchen. The 1900 building is located in the historic center of Zoutleeuw and currently seats 16 covers. In a homely, intimate setting, Anna Kempeneers (historian) presents our tasting menus with matching wines. The wine list of L'air de Sens is in permanent development and expansion where Anna is constantly looking for special wines. German (dry) wines from renowned wineries currently form the backbone complemented by some of "our favorites" from France and Spain.
