Richie De Clercq has given his parents' restaurant a delicious schwung in the past year. 800 years of Sint-Niklaas is therefore best combined with a culinary intermezzo in Portobelfino, barely 50 meters from the largest market in Belgium. Portobelfino is a restaurant that always provides surprising developments. Do not expect a fixed menu, because Richie prefers to respond to current events, the market and the things that come his way. He cooks with respect for good products and presents dishes inspired by classic Belgian cuisine. His suggestions and menus (lunch in two or three courses and a suggestion menu in five courses) are based exclusively on quality ingredients and often you taste a surprising oriental accent. It is clear that innovation and tradition meet at Portobelfino. When the weather is nice, guests like to take a seat on the cozy terrace in front. Portobelfino: The guarantee of quality, cozy enjoyment. The nearest parking is under the market!

Altijd een interessante maar lekkere keuze...

Altijd een interessante maar lekkere keuze van de chef met zeer hartelijke bediening. Een top restaurant waar we telkens zeer graag naartoe gaan. Vooral omdat het er zo gemoedelijk aan toe gaat, maar met eten op het niveau van een sterrenrestaurant. Onze gasten, die wel wat gewoon zijn, waren ook aangenaam verrast en zeer tevreden over de restaurant keuze.
