About this restaurant
We are delighted to welcome you to our Lebanese restaurant in the historic heart of Waterloo. Our head chef, Wafic, has been a chef for over 40 years. He therefore has unrivalled experience in the trade. Having worked in the top palaces of Beirut and Dubai in the 80s, he was appointed head chef of the Lebanese diplomatic corps in Belgium in 1987. From 1997 to 2022, the chef owned a small restaurant, "Le Cèdre du Liban", in the Belgian capital. In 2023, Wafic and his son Mohamed decided to join forces and embark on a new project to combine youth and experience. One will bring his culinary knowledge and the other his mastery of entrepreneurship.

2ème visite chez Au Zawtar en moins d’un mois et toujours sous le charme de ce restaurant libanais authentique. Le service, l’accueil, mais surtout la gentillesse et la qualité des plats: on sent le savoir faire dans la finesse du goût et de la présentation
