The Café de la Lanterne aims to restore the character of the old tavern in the center of Genappe, which opened in 1917. Nearly a century later, the charm and beauty of the place are completely brought up to date. Carefully and delicately furnished by Maxence Van Crombrugge, the establishment reveals today a hushed atmosphere, both jazzy, soft and modern. The menu honors the spirit of a bistro-resto while giving pride of place to local producers. As for the beers, the amateurs will have what to satisfy their pleasure. The establishment offers a large choice renewed regularly. All the ingredients are gathered to spend a pleasant moment in an intimate and friendly atmosphere. Le Café de la Lanterne est une valeur sûre : on y mange toujours très très bien ! Le cadre est chaleureux et la carte incroyablement variée, avec de superbes plats belges et français. Les bières sont excellentes, parfaites pour accompagner un plat différent à chaque visite. Le personnel est accueillant et les prix restent très raisonnables — un vrai plaisir à chaque fois !

Le service est imppecable. La qualité est bonne, mais les frites annoncées maison ne le sont pas. Des frites sans intérêt. Un burger à plus de 20 euros, je ne dois plus avoir faim après avoir terminé.
