About this restaurant
Lucky star welcomed its first customers about thirty years ago. This was done in a cozy atmosphere and by serving culinary excellence. Today, these values are still pursued. Chef Ho Ion Loi carefully prepares traditional Chinese dishes as well as innovative specialties. His acclaimed lacquered duck is an example of this. In July 2011, chef Ho Ion Loi entered into a partnership with Timmy Liu. Timmy Liu is the youngest member of a family with a great history in the Chinese restaurant business. After all, his grandfather Chang Kwai Cheung was one of the first Chinese to open a restaurant in Antwerp. The vision of Ho Ion Loi and Timmy Liu is to bring together East and West in a casual way. At Lucky Star you can enjoy the Chinese cuisine, combined with a friendly service.
