The Zwart Huis monument in Bruges was built in 1482 and bears the name "De Pensée". This laatgotische building was in fact a meeting place for the inhabitants of the city of Bruges. At 19 meters high, this historic house is one of the most indecent places in Bruges. The level was higher, with rounded corners, and it now sits in the middle, next to a drop-shaped top. The bedrooms have a large bathroom, a glass in the blood and a glass in the water with drops of water coming out of it. In the monumental hall of Bistro Zwart Huis, you'll find a variety of remarkable interior details, including a magnificent wood carving in the middle of one of the authentic schouwen. Let yourself be seduced, too, by the Tudorboogpoort area, with its natural ambience enhanced by hogels and kruisbloem.

The food was all really delicious, it was obviously fresh and cooked with care. The restaurant itself is beautiful and atmospheric. Had a wonderful meal here with family and the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming.

2x verkeerde bestellingen aan de tafel. Weinig keuze. En een team dat niet op elkaar afgestemd is. Jammer had hoge verwachtingen maar was minder waar.

The service was slow, not enough staff when...

The service was slow, not enough staff when the restaurant was full. One order was incorrect which the waiter apologised for as his mistake, so a new meal had to be prepared. By the time it arrived, 30 mins later, everyone else at the table had finished and the meal delivered was burnt, so not edible. Got a refund but not a good experience.

Tourist trap. Do not go there. Geen smaak, (frituur)kaaskroket uit diepvries, verwacht je niet in restaurant. Vol au vent van zalm niet te vreten. Saus bij vlees smaakt allemaal hetzelfde. Veel chaos, voorgerecht kwam samen met aperitief. Daarna kwam het brood met de tapenade voor bij de aperitief. Bij vorige uitbater was het veel beter. Nieuwe uitbater met oogkleppen aan, verdrinkt zelf in de chaos, bierkaartjes op tafel voor tafelnummers… Kan niet om met kritiek en werd onvriendelijk. Volgens hem was alles lekker en perfect…. Doch klant is koning…. Ons zien ze er niet meer terug. Veel lof aan de lieve serveerster die haar uiterste best deed om de boel recht te houden.
