About this restaurant
Restaurant Brasserie du Gourmet is established in the very heart of ancient Brussels, a few steps away from the Fish Market Square. It lies in the shadow of the beautiful Beguinage Church, a wonderful silent location in the city center. The Brasserie itself exhales the same cosy and engaging atmosphere, in warm shades dominated by red and white. It can accept till 40 people. During summertime, you can sit on a quiet terrace, shielded from the wind and the sun. Natascha, the dynamic owner of de place, leads the restaurant in an efficient, warm-hearted way. Bruno, the chef, looks after the food and dishes on your plate. The menu proposes traditional dishes from the French and Belgian cuisine, without omitting regional dishes nor children's tastes. Every noon, a three courses menu is proposed (16,50 euro), or, for the ones in a hurry, a lunch for only 10 euro. Every month, a special menu, adapted to the season, is offered for 32 euro. Nice wine-list at very reasonable prices.

Accueil très sympathique dans un cadre chaleureux. Nous n'avons pris qu'un plat car nous n'étions pas affamées, mais toute la carte est très appétissante. Nous sommes tombées d'accord sur la qualité de la viande, délicieuse, cuite parfaitement, tendre comme du beurre, un vrai régal. Une adresse à recommander.

De vriendelijkheid van de dame in de brasserie...

De vriendelijkheid van de dame in de brasserie en de kwaliteit en smaak van het eten. Een crème Brulé met een perfekt knapperig suikerlaagje, de overige gerechten waren ook heerlijk, de groente was perfekt gekookt en knapperig. En niet te vergeten dat het lokaal er oer gezellig uitziet. Chapeau
