The restaurant Seino bears the name of its chef: a virtuoso in the kitchen who, after having cooked at Bernard Loiseau's in Saulieu and at Bruneau's in Brussels, opened his own establishment. Just a stone's throw from the châtelain, at 81 rue du mail, the chef takes you on a culinary adventure that combines his Japanese origins with his love of French gastronomy.

Première visite chez Seino....et bien que le sous-chef de cuisine (Oumar) était seul pour gérer tout le restaurant, tant en cuisine qu'en salle, ce vendredi midi (serveur prévenant de son absence à la dernière minute), il a très bien géré cela et le repas n'en a pas souffert. Très bonne cuisine, seine, pleine de saveurs, très bonnes cuissons également. L'assortiment de 8 dégustation en entrée est une excellente idée (seul petit bémol...5 pickels/crudités c'est beaucoup sur les 8). Belle carte des boissons également, prix raisonnables, avec notamment pas mal de vins belges...et un large choix de sakés bien sût. Bref, à faire et à refaire.

Service sympa, bonne cuisine, rapport qualité/prix moyen. On est sur du 95€ par personne pour avec 1 verre de vin et de l'eau + la dégustation de saké à15€.

un peu bruyant > insonorisation! excellent, très bon choix accompagnement des boissons reste un peu cher cependant 75€ menu + 35€ boissons ... soit 110€/pers ! Ca n'a tout de même rien de luxueux

Mr. Seino is and remains an artist and magician of the Japanese- French fusion. Each creation is delicious, fresh and innovative. Absolutely worth every penny and detour.
