A summer evening on the banks of the Leie,on a terrace overlooking the impressive and historic Graslei. Enjoying a refined French cuisine in the most romantic spot of Ghent. In a listed mansion, dating from the 18th century, Allegro moderato has been established for several years. The stately home, whose façade attracts everyone's attention,was a few years ago the meeting place of the guild of the unfree boatmen. The eighteenth-century model murals, together with classical music, take the visitor back in a flash to the time of guilds and crafts.

Wij vierden onze huwelijksverjaardag en werden...

Wij vierden onze huwelijksverjaardag en werden hartelijk ontvangen en kregen een romantisch tafeltje voor een super lekker 5 gangen menu. Ook de wijntjes pasten heel goed bij de gerechten. Als Haspengouwer vond ik de haspengouwse wijn bijzonder lekker. Mooi kader, intiem dineren bij kaarslicht. Een aanrader.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were delightful - welcoming, thoughtful and informative. The location - looking out over the water - was amazing, the room calm and pretty and the atmosphere really attractive.
