Hof Van Eisterlee was once an inn and resting place for draft horses that pulled boats across the old canal. The property was purchased as a farm by Robin's great-grandparents and was converted into café-brasserie "De Mutsaert." After a thorough renovation in 2014, the property was renamed "Hof Van Eisterlee," and the building was given the rustic view you can enjoy today. As a passionate chef and manager, Robin does nothing more than deliver quality dishes to his customers and give them an incredible experience, as you will notice when you look at the menu. Moreover, you can also come here to celebrate birthdays, communions or other festive occasions. We also organize coffee tables and funeral services so you don't have to worry about such things when you have to say goodbye to a loved one. The menu features traditional fish and meat dishes as well as tasty vegetarian dishes and innovative seasonal creations. Voor een doordeweeks etentje van 2 gangen toch...

Voor een doordeweeks etentje van 2 gangen toch een 2-tal uur moeten tafelen. Door een miscommunicatie was de wachttijd van het hoofdgerecht zeer lang. Een gratis consumptie was aangeboden ter compensatie. Het bleek dat één van onze filet-pur gerechten naar een andere tafel was gebracht met als gevolg dat één bord opnieuw moest worden bereid. Naar mijn gevoel is de andere filet-pur gewoon blijven liggen, daar deze enorm uitgedroogd was bij het serveren. Deze is ondanks de fout niet opnieuw bereid. Jammer. Voorgerecht was oké.
