For more than 35 years, you can visit restaurant 't Kriekske on the edge of the picturesque Hallerbos for the real taste of regional dishes. This establishment is a base for connoisseurs, hikers and friends who meet over a fresh pint or a hearty meal ... The chef, Victor Van Roy, has gained experience in many restaurants in Brussels and after his military service also worked for a while as a cook at sea. It is no coincidence that the specialty of the house is mussels. People come from far and wide to enjoy this delicacy. During the mussel season it is unfortunately not possible to make reservations. Furthermore, the steaks, eel in green and rabbit are not to be sneezed at! You will certainly find something for everyone on the varied menu or perhaps you prefer a suggestion menu? Every week restaurant 't Kriekske offers you new suggestions, in response to the seasons and the market. In addition to the attractive interior, you can also enjoy all this on the inviting terrace. Très bon accueil et service. Ils proposent essentiellement des plats typiques belges; leurs moules, leurs steaks frites sont très excellents. Brasserie où l’on aime retourner.

Une institution à l'orée du bois de Hal; un accueil parfait dans les 2 langues; à ne pas manquer : les quinzaines de spécialités plusieurs fois par an; zarzuela et paëlla d'enfer (05/02-16/02) - compter +/- 28€ justifiés par rapport à la qualité: plats généreux à souhait. Que dire de la sangria maison: une tuerie! Une maison d'une convivialité rare!
