TOP CHEF AT THE STOVE In the kitchen of 't Kantientje in Knokke-Heist, chef Dominique Pille is the master of combining delicious flavors. This is proven by his recognition as the best Belgian mussel chef (1995), the Grand Prix of the Guide des Connaisseurs (2004) and the Silver Bistro (2012). Is the sun shining? Leave the dining room for what it is and cool down on the cosy terrace. FROM KNOKKE TO RAMSKAPELLE Does the name 't Kantientje ring a bell? It may. For over twenty years, the restaurant was located on the Lippenslaan in Knokke. In 2007 we closed the doors there ... and in 2009 we opened new ones in Ramskapelle. With an even more convivial atmosphere. The menu no longer features the old mussel dishes, but other culinary delights. HONEST, ULTRA-FRESH CLASSICS Chef Dominique Pille's credo? No-nonsense dishes and honest flavors. The menu shows off classics such as fried sole and Danish cod. But also homemade shrimp croquettes. And for meat lovers there is a juicy sirloin steak or filet of Irish Angus. Epicureans feast on a tasty lobster - fresh from the homarium, and prepared in your favorite way. The chef swears by fresh ingredients. That's why his menu dances to the rhythm of the seasons. So you are always assured of crisp, traditional delicacies. CONVIVIAL ATMOSPHERE At the stove, the chef and his team create the delicacies. But in the dining room, his wife, Marleen Van Den Broucke, rules the roost. She gets help from the familiar team of waiters - the driving force behind 't Kantientje for years. They provide the finishing touch to the dishes and a convivial, customer-friendly atmosphere.
