In the historic center of Leuven, located just meters from the longest bar in the world, you can find more than 25 years one of the coziest catering businesses in Leuven back, Resto Ribs.
From the start in 1992, Resto Ribs is all about our famous house specials, BBQ Ribs and other BBQ dishes. What makes these dishes so special is the way we prepare them and especially the accompanying BBQ sauce that is abundant.
The success story of Resto Ribs is due to a fortuitous gift. When three Cab Crew Members of the former Sabena returned from a flight from New York, they were in possession of a secret recipe for making a typical American BBQ sauce. Thinking it a shame to leave this recipe unused, they decided to look for a suitable location to start a small business. They quickly found a building in the Parijsstraat in Leuven, where the business has been located for over 25 years.
In the early years, there was no menu and you could choose from only three dishes. But when the Parisstraat gradually grew into a trendy neighborhood, more and more people found their way to the restaurant and the Ribs evolved from a small eatery to a full restaurant. In 2007 the opportunity suddenly presented itself to double the capacity of the business by the release of the adjacent premises. Meanwhile, the Parisstraat had evolved into a culinary hotspot with something for everyone and in the summer a pleasant bustle.
Our restaurant has already contributed to this thanks to our spacious terrace where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or a nice lunch/dinner with the whole family or some friends. An absolute must!

Prijs/kwaliteit is top. Goed bediening, vriendelijk personeel. Alleen vind ik nog steeds vervelend dat het altijd één rekening per tafel moet zijn. En dat we de rekening niet kunnen opsplitsen. Voor de rest is het top!
