Zoals onze naam verraadt, zijn wij een typisch fonduerestaurant waar je gezellig kan tafelen in een uniek Zwitsers kader, volgens de "à volonté" – formule. Een uitgebreid gamma van kaasfondues, de traditionele fondue Bourguignonne (vleesfondue), de authentieke raclette, visfondue, grillen op houtskool…om daarna af te sluiten met een overheerlijke chocoladefondue. Ons restaurant ligt vlakbij het centrum van Leuven op loopafstand van de Oude Markt en de Grote Markt. Het sfeervolle tuinterras is overdekt en verwarmd en is bijna gans het jaar geopend. Zowel kleine gezelschappen als grotere groepen kunnen we probleemloos ontvangen. Wil u dus uw familie, vrienden of collega's eens vergasten op een uitzonderlijke avond, spreek dan af bij "ambiance"-restaurant 't Fonduehuisje !

The food was good however the service was not...

The food was good however the service was not good. One or two waiters were friendly however the rest were always in a rush, wouldn't allow me to finish my sentence and they would get on with their work. A good service needs to listen to the customer until the end and not make the customer feel like he's in a rush to answer. There were more than 10 waiters present, so even at full capacity of the restaurant this should not be a problem. Other than that food was fast and good although the torch under the Fondue is an iverkiller cause 10min into it the fondue is boiling too much and the oil is on the surface, maybe that's why its open fondue.
