The restaurant, for a gastronomic break Because the quality of our service also depends on the quality of our dishes, we invite you to take a seat at one of the tables in our restaurant, which is open every day of the week. Hoewel Van der Valk een internationale uitstraling heeft en ik tot op heden zeer tevreden was van de ontvangst in andere vestigingen, vond ik het teleurstellend dat de receptioniste mij niet in het Nederlands te woord kon staan. Ik werd vrij sec duidelijk gemaakt dat ik Engels of Frans moest spreken.

Le cadre est toujours top. Le personnel sympathique. Mais pour le reste.. comme a chaque fois que je suis allé, il manque toujours quelque chose, tel Gin , ah il y a plus , tel plat ah ben il n'y a plus non plus, la dernière fois c'était le vin. Changement a trois reprises. Pour les plats, un hamburger au crispy poulet, avec un fromage aussi épais que l'hamburger, un magret de canard en croûte, bon la croûte c'était la peau légèrement caramélisée. Et pour mon plat, du veau cuisson basse température, 63 °c, recuit au pass de cuisine, sans parler des légumes qui ont subis le même sort. Et avec tout ca , une sauce beurre maître d'hôtel qui s'est transformé en sauce crème estragon. Et également , du jamais vu. Un st Joseph ( cotes du rhone) a 42 eur la bouteille servi dans un seau a glace. Bon tout était mangeable, mais au vu du prix , il y a moyen de faire bcp mieux.
