Located in a small, quiet street in the center of Rochefort, l'Incontournable is a restaurant full of charm and comfort But besides a warm setting, it is above all an authentic cuisine with a touch of modernity that will seduce your taste buds. The chef, Stéphane Côte, applies all the tricks he learned at the hotel school of Libramont to serve you a refined cuisine composed of fresh products selected according to the seasons. At his side, his wife Charlotte, who also studied at Libramont, lives her passion for the profession, and even if she always wants to give her own touch to the dishes, she will welcome you in the dining room. After more than 20 years of experience, they finally took the step to open their own restaurant. L'Incontournable is also a family affair, their two sons support them on a daily basis, the eldest, who also went to the hotel school in Libramont, is already following in his parents' footsteps... On sunny days, the quiet terrace at the back of the restaurant is perfect for enjoying the good weather!

All three selections that my wife and I made...

All three selections that my wife and I made from the Bib Gourmand menu were excellent. The crab/shrimp tartelette, the pigeon, the strawberry “fantasy “, and the cheese chariot. The small bread rolls were just okay. The amuses were fine. As suggested, the half-bottle of Rhone wine was a very nice pairing with the pigeon (and the cheeses). The wine steward spoke excellent English as well as French. The hostess spoke neither English nor Nederlands and her French was too rapid. A Michelin restaurant would be better served by attention to the languages of its international customers.
