About this restaurant
Since 2009, Les Pénates is a famous wine bar/restaurant located just a few steps from the Place Flagey in Ixelles. This place has kept all the charm of the old butcher's shop of the seventies, its small white tiles or its huge electrical plugs of the time,... without forgetting the work plan where the cutting of the meats was prepared.

Le service était vraiment bien et l'ambiance...

Le service était vraiment bien et l'ambiance décontracté. Par contre, le plat était insipide (pas de saveur particulier), n'était pas gourmand (pas grand chose dans l'assiette). Le rapport qualité-prix est à revoir.

We reserveerden een tafel , maar moesten buiten...

We reserveerden een tafel , maar moesten buiten op een terras zitten daar was her erg koud en waren er rokers. O.ze vraag binnen te zitten werd genegeerd hoewel er gedurende 2u plaats vrij was. Het eten was wel goed. Maar we zijn vervroegd vertrokken door de kou. We waren bevroren.⁷
