About this restaurant
L'artista is an authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Mechelen. The kitchen and the menu were composed from a to z by three young purebred Italians with a passion for cooking. They form a dynamic and talented team, with knowledge and experience of the real Italian cuisine.
The restaurant has an open kitchen, a cozy lounge and spacious terrace. We also do our name justice: L'artista also serves as a gallery for young talent. There are dozens of artworks spread throughout the space on loan from the art academy in Mechelen.
And if you still don't know where to look, there's always our wonderful wood-fired oven, in which our pizzas are perfectly prepared, providing a cosy atmosphere like nowhere else.
